Donate your Canadian Tire Money!

Yes it is as simple as that to help the kids & community in Africa!

We regularly have Interns & Board members traveling back & forth to our Communities in Uganda & we always like to stuff their bags full with donations/supplies to take to the community. Of course it would be ideal to have these items donated but is not always easy to coordinate/collect items in time for take-off. The flexibility we get with donations of "Canadian Tire" money (& CAD $$) is that we can collect it all year & purchase exactly what we need when we need it.

Why Canadian Tire? Well other than being our Ugandan Country Director Obed's favorite place to go when he visits Canada it also has a wide selection of goods that we can send to Uganda. Now do remember that freight charges are not cheap so we only like to take with us items that can not be purchased in Uganda (which also stimulates their economy). Such items are:

- deflated soccer balls (a real hit with the kids) & sporting goods

- art supplies, paints etc.

- sewing/knitting needles/hooks

- batteries, solar panels, cameras/film, tools, led lights and the list goes on...

So please dig through your glove boxes & drawers and collect all the dollars & cents you can find!
